MEMPHIS, THE "BIRTHPLACE OF ROCK & ROLL"

Music is flowing through this city as Beale Street hosts several music festivals during the year. Iconic Graceland features an "Elvis Week" with every type of activity from a 5k to a candlelight vigil in memorial of Elvis' passing. You can even thumb through the Blues Museum to get your music "fix".

If music isn't the main focus of your trip to Memphis, don't worry there are plenty of other activities to catch your attention. Try out the beautiful Memphis Queen III and other river boats that offer sightseeing tours. Plan a visit to Shelby Farms Park for a picnic and bison watching. Catch a game and see the Memphis Red Birds play baseball or the Memphis Grizzlies play basketball. Whatever you do, don't leave Memphis without stopping in at 1 of the more than 100 BBQ joints.
